Your child need never fear visiting the dentist.
Here at Dentistry at Providence Square, we make every effort to ensure that fear of the dentist never develops in your child. This is accomplished through a caring attitude, a soft touch and an emphasis on your child having an overall pleasant dental experience.
Sometimes it's tough to get children to understand the importance of things like oral hygiene, especially where braces are concerned. That's why our well-trained staff educates kids on how to keep their teeth clean and what foods should be avoided in order to prevent damaging braces.
Kids get toys and toothbrushes on every visit, and we even have kid-friendly videos to help make their visit to the dentist enjoyable. We encourage parents to participate in their child's treatment. He or she will need regular checkups and hygiene visits every six months. Dr. Klein may recommend dental sealants or supplemental fluoride treatments. Sealants are a thin, clear coating that protects hard to clean back teeth from the sugars that cause tooth decay. Flouride treatments will help strengthen tooth enamel and help ward off cavities.
We are dedicated to making dentistry a really fun, educational, positive experience for your child. Sometimes, we refer children to a pedodontist, someone who specializes in children's dentistry. We will help you make the best choices for your child's dental health.
